Bitop´s new active ingredient EctoinOil is the first oil compatible Ectoin and is specially developed for use in water-free skincare formulations.

With this innovative bioactive, formulators can create highly effective and water-smart products with Ectoin with the same efficacy while saving 99.9% of water compared to an emulsion. Furthermore, EctoinOil is produced via sustainable manufacturing processes (biofermentation). The combination of water-saving applications and sustainable manufacturing makes this active a true “green ingredient,” according to Bitop.

According to Bitop (stand T36), the 100% natural active enables new and easy ways of incorporating Ectoin into water-free formulations including oil-serums, makeup, mascara, foundation, pressed powders, body oils, sun care and more.
